Bluetooth 5 module in 28 sq mm footprint – in distribution

Distributor Mouser has Taiyo Yuden’s EYSHSNZWZ Bluetooth low energy module that measures 3.25 × 8.55 × 0.9 mm space-constrained applications; the device can be paired with sensors that require minimal space and power.

The module is built around Nordic Semiconductors’ nRF52832 SoC which contains a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F processor with 512 kBytes of flash memory and 64 kBytes of RAM. The Nordic SoC also includes a 12-bit analogue-to-digital converter and support for SPI, UART, I 2C, and I 2S interfaces.

 

The EYSHSNZWZ integrates a high-performance PCB antenna, 32 MHz system clock, and support for NFC-A Type-2 for touch-to-pair applications. The module offers typical output power of +4 dBm in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. The module is FCC, IC, and MIC certified and is suitable for low-power wireless applications, such as wearables, heart rate and blood pressure monitors, thermometers, and mobile accessories.
